Positive AI awards its Responsible AI label to Malakoff Humanis

11 September 2024

Malakoff Humanis has been awarded the Positive AI label, further strengthening its commitment to ethical and responsible artificial intelligence. This label, granted by the Positive AI association, recognizes the company’s proactive efforts to integrate ethical principles in the development and use of its AI solutions.

Following an independent evaluation, Malakoff Humanis becomes the second company to receive this label, after Orange. The label certifies that the company has implemented a rigorous approach to mitigate the potential social and environmental impacts of its algorithms and AI systems.

Why pursue the Positive AI label?

The Positive AI label offers organizations and companies several key benefits:

  • Assess their level of maturity in Responsible AI;
  • Identify concrete levers for improvement as well as actions and tools to address them;
  • Highlight the continuous improvement process in Responsible AI;
  • Establish data and algorithm governance that safeguards the fundamental rights of employees and customers;
  • Foster a culture of ethical AI around shared values within the company and attract future talents who align with these convictions.

The label is awarded following an independent audit, conducted with respect for confidentiality.

A commitment to ethics praised by David Giblas

David Giblas, President of Positive AI and Deputy CEO of Malakoff Humanis, states:
“Ethics and transparency are at the heart of Malakoff Humanis’ practices. The company ensures a human-centered relationship with its clients while maintaining control over its AI technologies. In addition to regular audits, we continuously reflect on our practices to make our processes more transparent and accessible to all our stakeholders. This effort in transparency strengthens team cohesion, encourages them to explain their work more effectively, adopt a more open approach, and question our methods for improvement. Receiving this label is a testament to these ongoing efforts and highlights our commitment to advancing responsible AI practices.”

Philippe Streiff, delegate of the Positive AI association, adds:
“This second award of the Positive AI label underscores the growing commitment of companies to ethical and responsible AI. We congratulate Malakoff Humanis on this achievement and hope that this label will continue to inspire other actors.”
