Our association continues to grow, and we are proud to announce the recent arrival of Niji as an associate member of our community.
Nicolas Sebbah, Digital Solutions Director at Niji, answers our questions.
Positive AI: Why did Niji choose to join Positive AI as an associate member?
Nicolas Sebbah : Niji is a consulting, design, and technology implementation company dedicated to the digital transformation of businesses, major corporations, and mid-sized enterprises (ETIs) across regions. Our mission is to support our clients from ideation to implementation through a One Niji approach, leveraging the synergies between our different areas of expertise.
For several years, we have been working on Data & AI challenges, from awareness and strategic framing of use cases to the development and large-scale deployment of AI products. We also regularly conduct AI diagnostics for French ETIs as part of the BPI accreditation process.
The challenges of Responsible AI from an ethical perspective—whether ensuring compliance with the AI Act or addressing data privacy—alongside cost control and carbon impact, are at the heart of decision-makers’ concerns when it comes to industrialization. Therefore, confronting and sharing the challenges and approaches to meeting these requirements is essential to accelerating and strengthening the upskilling of our clients, our employees, and our broader partner ecosystem.
In this sense, our membership in Positive AI represents a tremendous opportunity for exchange and collaboration in service of this critical shared goal.

How does this collaboration align with your vision of Responsible AI and your innovation objectives for your clients?
The democratization of AI use brings many challenges. While AI is proving to be an incredibly effective tool for assisting humans and enhancing their capabilities, it also raises questions about our sovereignty in controlling this human-machine relationship. The risks of excessive dependence are very real: AI hallucinations, ethical biases, a gradual loss of expertise, and uncontrolled environmental impact from large-scale deployments. It is therefore urgent to ask ourselves: How much control do we retain over this “augmentation”?
The role of humans should not be reduced to mechanically triggering algorithms. More importantly, they must understand how these systems work in order to make the most of them while anticipating potential pitfalls. Moreover, to ensure that this expertise is not confined to a small elite, we must acquire new skills on a large scale—learning to analyze and deconstruct AI systems to identify their flaws, determining the moments and contexts where control mechanisms should be applied, and rethinking and redesigning processes. The ultimate goal? Ensuring the overall coherence of the system, regardless of where AI intervenes.
What are the key projects or initiatives you plan to develop by 2025?
Building on significant progress in recent years, we aim to make AI a central pillar of our strategy by 2025. First, by launching major transformation initiatives across our business lines and offerings—Consulting, Design, Digital Factory, Salesforce, and Cybersecurity—alongside investments in shared infrastructures like the AI Sandbox and acceleration of our generative AI product incubation strategy.
Secondly, we are committed to further strengthening our support for mid-sized enterprises (ETIs) at every stage of their AI transformation journey. This includes deploying strategic partnerships, tailored expertise, and customized AI solution integration to meet their specific needs.
At Niji, we place great emphasis on providing personalized and pragmatic support, taking into account the unique challenges faced by each ETI. Our multidisciplinary teams work closely with clients to design and implement responsible, sustainable, and operationally relevant AI solutions.
