Frugal AI: Why and How?
- As the International Summit for AI Action in February 2025 highlights sustainable AI, this conference will revisit the history of the emergence of the Frugal AI framework, published by the Ministry in collaboration with AFNOR, through a working group bringing together associations, researchers, businesses, and public administrations.
- It will also address the challenges of sustainable AI, best practices, and the next steps for this framework and the Ministry’s actions.
- Juliette Fropier is an Artificial Intelligence Project Manager at Ecolab, the innovation laboratory of the Ministry responsible for ecological transition.
- She oversees the Ministry’s AI roadmap, working towards a responsible and sustainable use of Artificial Intelligence to support public policies for ecological transition.
