
Conference Summary:
As the International Summit for AI Action in February 2025 highlights sustainable AI, this conference will provide an opportunity to review the history behind the development of the framework for frugal AI. Published by the Ministry in collaboration with AFNOR, the framework is the result of a working group that brought together associations, researchers, companies, and public administrations. The discussion will also address the challenges of sustainable AI, best practices, and the next steps for the framework and the Ministry’s initiatives.
Speaker Introduction:
Juliette Fropier is an Artificial Intelligence Project Manager at Ecolab, the innovation lab of the Ministry responsible for ecological transition. In charge of the Ministry’s AI roadmap, she focuses on promoting a reasoned and sustainable use of artificial intelligence to support public policies for ecological transition.
