- From 2020 to 2024, France led the flagship “Confiance.ai” program, bringing together leading French industrial groups, AI research institutions, and deep-tech startups.
- This collective effort produced and validated a comprehensive methodological framework and a toolbox enabling the design and development of Trustworthy AI-based systems.
- Building on this success, the creation of the European Trustworthy AI Foundation aims to ensure the continuity, evolution, and accessibility of these tools under an open-source governance model.
